News from The Perennial Gen co-founders, Michelle News from The Perennial Gen co-founders, Michelle & Amanda...
.
As many of you know, Amanda has been writing children’s fiction in addition to her day job as a non-fiction book editor. The first two books in her Tree Street Kids series (ages 8-12) will be releasing in April 2021 from Moody Publishers: Jack vs. the Tornado and The Hunt for Fang. (Follow her journey to publication and book news: @book_leaves).📚
.
The Perennial Gen blog wouldn’t exist if God hadn’t brought us together four years ago at a @deeplyrootedchi gathering in Chicago. That connection first led to the creation of The Perennial Gen blog, and eventually, Amanda became Michelle’s editor for both Born to Wander and Becoming Sage.🌱
.
As Amanda has moved into new things this year, Michelle has been piloting the blog solo and has cherished working with those who’ve contributed to this space. For December, Michelle is putting things on pause as she reflects and prays about what those of us in the second half of our lives may need from an online community like theperennialgen.com. Now is the time for a selah.
.
If you’re a regular reader and/or contributor to the blog and have thoughts about what you’d like to see in the space in 2021, comment below. And if you have some writing and editing skills and are interested in lending a hand, visit the Contact Us page on the website (link in bio).✍🏼
.
During December, Michelle will continue to share links on the PerGen Facebook page. In the meantime, we pray that you will discover an ever-richer understanding of the promise made in Isaiah 7:14 and fulfilled in Matthew 1:23 – that a virgin would bear a son who would be revealed to the world as Immanuel – God with us.
.
Because he is.
