We know websites are never “done”, but we’ve held off on saying we’re officially launching this site as we’ve tweaked this `n that. While we’ve been in the internet engine room trying to make sense of the tech stuff, we’ve had lots of visitors and received some amazing posts we’ve been honored to share.

Someone once said, “Life is not a dress rehearsal”. Even though we thought we were sort of doing a virtual “dress rehearsal” in preparation for an official launch, the fact of the matter is our launch sort of happened a few weeks ago.

We have much to celebrate. That’s where YOU come in!

We have some amazing give-aways, described below. Every time you interact with us online between today (8 a.m. Central time on July 17th) and midnight (Central) on Friday, August 4th, you are automatically entered in our contest for one of the prizes described below. Your chance of winning one of these prizes increases every time you:

Plus, if you enter your email address in the “Subscribe” box —> (over there, in the right hand column) during the contest period, this simple act will count as TWO entries. (We’re collecting email addresses to notify Perennial Gen friends of future events, and will never, ever share your email with anyone else.)

You can not select which prize package you wish to receive – but they’re all pretty awesome, so enjoy the fun of a surprise on us! Drawing will take place after the contest ends. Prizes will be shipped to U.S. addresses only.

Check it out! Here are the 4 prizes we’re giving away:

#1 – Perennial Gen lightweight cotton tote + When Did Everybody Else Get So Old? Indignities, Compromises, and the Unexpected Grace of Midlife by Jennifer Grant

That is one cute tote, isn’t it? We’re pairing it with Jennifer Grant’s relatable memoir about midlife. (We’ll be profiling this book here at the blog soon!) Michelle had the opportunity to preview the book, and she said of it, “Jennifer Grant’s shimmering prose, soulful observations, wit, and insight make her an apt companion as we move through this necessary life stage of change and growth.”

#2 – Perennial Gen lightweight cotton tote + Broke: What Financial Desperation Revealed About God’s Abundance by Caryn Rivadeneira

This package include our super-cute tote, along with Caryn Rivadeneira’s excellent book about what she discovered about herself, the world, and God during a time of great financial need in her family. Her humility and transparency about her journey make this essential reading for those of us who’ve faced financial setbacks (Housing Crisis of ’07-`08, anyone?) or simply wrestle with how to be faithful stewards in a consumer-driven culture.

#3 – Perennial Gen lightweight cotton tote + If Only: Letting Go Of Regret and Moments & Days: How Our Holy Celebrations Shape Our Faith, both by Michelle Van Loon

It’s our cute tote along with two books by our own Michelle Van Loon. Coming to terms with regret is a part of the journey into midlife for many of us, and If Only is a helpful companion for that journey. Nothing is beyond God’s redemption in our lives – nothing! Moments & Days offers readers a rich and user-friendly guide to the Jewish feasts and the Christian calendar. More than just a guide – it is an invitation to intentional living.

#4 – For contributors only! We’ll be drawing two names from all of those who’ve sent us posts from June 1 – August 4, and will gift those two winners with a Perennial Gen tote. If you’ve been pondering sending us a post, click here for the details.

If you can’t wait to see if you win, you can use our Resources Page to order any of the books mentioned above from Amazon. Every purchase you make helps support this website.
